All volunteer programs will be located in Nairobi, Narok and Malindi Kenya. Volunteers will be in Malindi for two weeks, Nairobi one week and then proceed to Narok for the last week of their volunteer time.
Narok
Maasai Mara National Park
Narok is a small town located 80 miles south west of Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. Narok town is the capital of Narok, district home for the Maasai Mara National Park, one of Kenya's main foreign income earners frequented by thousands of tourist from all over the world. The population of Narok town is about 40,000 with most of the people being the Maasai people who are a nomadic group of people in Kenya. Volunteers can access the internet at MED-Business Centre and telephone services including international calling services for less than 40 cents a minute. There are plenty of financial institutions where volunteers can change their money, charge their credit cards and also mail post cards back home. There is a rash of souvenir shops and hawkers with plenty of Maasai shields and beadwork on sale. The drive to Narok is very beautiful as it is located below the great escapement (Great Rift Valley). Malindi
Malindi Beaches
Malindi is a coastal town in Kenya, 120 kilometers north of Mombasa. The small town of Malindi is at the centre of a strip of idyllic tropical beaches offering the visitor a range of world class resorts and quiet relaxing hideaways. Its population is 68.311 (as of 1st January, 2005). Tourism is the major industry in Malindi. The city is exceptionally popular among Italian tourists. Malindi is served with a domestic airport and a highway between Mombasa and Lamu. The nearly Watamu resort and Gedi Ruins (also known as Gede) are located south of Malindi. The mouth of the Sabaki River lies in northern Malindi.
Nairobi

Nairobi, city, capital of Kenya, in Nairobi District, situated at an elevation of about 1660 m (about 5450 ft) in the highlands of the southern part of the country. Nairobi is Kenya's principal economic, administrative, and cultural center and is one of the largest and fastest growing cities in Africa. Industries include processed food, textiles, clothing, building materials, and communications and transportation equipment. The city also has a large tourist industry. The University of Nairobi (1956), Kenya Polytechnic (1961), and Kenya Conservatoire of Music (1944) are here.
