Moses Ole-Koriata Scholarship Fund
In memory of one of our own, Moses Ole Koriata, a young Maasai man from Narok, Kenya who died in a road accident, MED teamed up with the Maasai Foundation of America, Inc, a non-profit organization based in Florida, USA, to sponsor 5 Maasai girls from Narok Kenya through their high school. In 2005/06 academic year the program provided 5 full scholarships to Maasai girls from Narok to attend High school. The program also provided the scholarship beneficiaries with mentoring.
